Traveled round the island of orchids Lanyu. These are coral rocks which Japanese mistook for ships and fired at them, during colonisation of the island in the second half of 19th century. Coral beaches here are amazingly rich with tropical fish and sea creatures. Don't need to swim in far, just put on goggles and put my head in the water. Its an owe-inspiring place.
