I am up in Shatili, the 7th century fortress-village in Khevsureti (Georgia). Its an awe-inspiring place, which Vazha Pshavela, a Georgian poets that I am researching regularly visited. Today is Shatiloba an annual festival, with music, dance and horse racing. Unfortunately we have to leave before the races start but I did get a chance to take pictures of some of the local riders in their traditional cloths.
